I want to trade trauma brains for happy dog brains trade parasomnia for pumpkin patch sleepovers trade compulsions for apple bobbing and tree trimming and a little blue blanket. I want to fall in love again and again want clouds of hearts like hairspray fumes around my head want to ice skate on a lake drawn just for me climb a dog house just to daydream catch snowflakes on a tongue I always trust will say the right thing. I want to dance the pony on a stage with kids who never age to serve pumpkin pie to a bird and a beagle who never dies. I want to live in vibrant colors and a sky full of moon a passage from Luke a stream of jazz flute.
